Hey! So, it’s been awhile since I’ve written a blog but I wanted to give a quick update on life and whats going on.
Since returning from the World Race I came home to Delaware and was able to spend a lot of time with my family which was great! I also got to substitute at the school I was working for before I left. I absolutely love my work family and loved the time that I got to spend with them.
Highlights from the past 6 months:
-Finding out I’m going to be an AUNT in March!
-Turning 30!
-Celebrating adoptions and babies with my close friends!
-Phillies game!
-Turks and Caicos!
-Meeting Murr from Impractical Jokers!
-Diamond Rio Live!
-Riding Motor Bikes around Lincoln with my family!
-Placing the star on top of the Christmas tree!
-Nebraska Cornhusker Football Game!
-AND now living in Georgia!
So that whole Georgia thing- yeah, I got here at the beginning of January and will be here for atleast the next 5 months attending a discipleship program called C.G.A. which stands for Center for Global Action. This program might last for only 5 months but the idea is that what we learn is not just for this season. The idea is to take what we are learning and apply it in real life and it becomes a lifestyle change. Some of the topics that we will cover while i’m here include knowledge of God, spiritual gifts, knowledge of self, discipleship, leadership, communication and Kingdom skills.
We will meet all day Monday and then half days Tuesday through Friday. I will also be getting a job but i’m not sure what that will be yet. Will keep you updated!
I will be living at The Cabin with a house mentor and 7 others attending the program with me. The ladies I am living with all did the Race but just at different times so its been really cool getting to hear their stories!
Looking forward to these next 5 months and getting to share this journey with you!
This is my CGA blog which is separate from my World Race blog so one way you can make my journey your journey is by clicking the subscribe button at the top!
Thanks for reading and for all the support I have received so far… I really appreciate it!
